CT-Moms is excited to again support Operation Gratitude
with the 2014 Deja Boo Candy Drive! In its fifth year, our candy drive gives our children the opportunity to do a good deed, while also helping curb the often massive amount of post-Halloween candy in our houses. Last year we collected over 875 pounds of candy for Operation Gratitude, who sends over 100,000 care packages a year to lift morale and express support to our Armed Forces. The candy is not only enjoyed by the soldiers and their comrades, but is often used as small gifts for children in the villages they encounter.
This year we will again have multiple drop-off locations for your excess Halloween candy. If you know of a business that would be interested in participating as a drop-off center, please contact us
All drop offs must be done by Monday November 10th. Candy can be loose or packaged!
We’d like to say a massive thank you to Con-way Freight
for being such a fantastic shipping partner, and for helping us help our servicemen and women!
